What a Qatar experience certificate should state

Under Qatar Labour Law No. 14 of 2004 an employee is entitled to a certificate of service on leaving, and it should stay factual. Certificates that stray into opinions about performance are the ones that get questioned during attestation.

• Job title held, and the department or project assignment
• Date of joining and date of leaving, or confirmation of current employment
• A short factual summary of duties and responsibilities

Experience certificates issued in Qatar are frequently attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then by the destination country's embassy — commonly for roles in Saudi Arabia or the UAE.
