What belongs on a company letterhead
A letterhead is the printed identity of your correspondence. Anyone receiving a letter from you should be able to tell, without asking, who wrote it, which legal entity stands behind it and how to reply. That means the registered company name exactly as it appears on the trade licence, the logo, a physical address, one phone number and one email address that are actually monitored, and the website.
In the UAE and the wider GCC two extra fields matter. The trade licence number tells a bank, landlord or government office that the entity is real and lets them verify it. The TRN identifies you for VAT, and a letter that accompanies any tax document is expected to carry it. Both belong in the header or the footer band, not buried in the body text.
Below the header comes the letter itself: the date, a reference number you can quote later, the addressee's name and company, a one-line subject, the body, and a signature block giving the signatory's name and designation with room for a wet signature and the company stamp. That closing block is what turns a printed page into a document another party will accept.

Frequently asked questions
What should a company letterhead include?+
The logo, the registered company name, a physical address, one monitored phone number and email address, and the website. UAE and GCC companies also add the trade licence number and the TRN so a bank or government office can verify the entity.
Is a letterhead a legal requirement in the UAE?+
There is no law forcing you to use one, but banks, free zone authorities, ministries and most corporate counterparties will not accept a letter that is not on company letterhead with an authorised signature and stamp.
Should the TRN appear on the letterhead?+
Yes if the letter accompanies invoices, credit notes or any VAT correspondence. If you are not VAT registered, leave the field empty rather than entering a placeholder.
Can I use this letterhead for official government letters?+

What size and margins should I use?+
