Businesses in Doha, Lusail and the QFC should already be issuing structured invoices in QAR, storing records for at least 10 years, and using ERP fields that can flip on VAT rate, VAT amount and net columns when the law commences.
Qatar Financial Centre firms follow their own corporate tax rules but still issue standard invoices for domestic supplies. Bilingual (Arabic/English) invoices remain best practice for government tenders.
