Gulf Logistics currently records inbound stock manually across three Jebel Ali warehouses, which delays put-away and causes stock-count variances at month end.
Cut inbound processing time per pallet by 40% and bring stock-count accuracy above 99% within one quarter of go-live.
Site survey report, to-be process design, configured scanning workflow, integration with the existing ERP, trained key users and a signed handover pack.
Four phases, each closing with a written acceptance point. Work is carried out on site during Phase 1 and 4 and remotely in between, with a weekly progress report to the project sponsor.
Client provides warehouse access, network coverage and one nominated key user per site. Hardware supply, civil works and third-party licence fees are excluded from the fees above.
Fees are quoted in AED and exclude VAT at 5% where applicable. Payment terms: 30% on award, balance against milestone acceptance, 30 days net. Pricing is valid until the date shown above.

A project proposal is the document that converts an enquiry into signed work. It has one job: to show the client that you understand their problem and have a credible, dated plan to solve it. This maker keeps the structure that decision-makers actually read — objective, deliverables, approach, timeline, team, commercials — and lets you edit every section in the browser with a live A4 preview beside the form.
Consultancies, contractors, IT integrators and agencies across the UAE and wider GCC use the same skeleton for very different work. Fill in your own sections, drop in a phase table with dates and fees, then export a branded PDF that matches the rest of your document set.
- Objective, deliverables, approach and assumptions as editable sections
- Phase table with dates, milestones and fees that totals automatically
- Client and issuing-company blocks with logo, trade licence and TRN
- Signature area for client acceptance and your authorised signatory
- Branded PDF export, print, WhatsApp and email sharing
How to write a project proposal
- 1
State the problem and objective
Open with the client's situation in their own words and one measurable objective the project will achieve.
- 2
List deliverables and approach
Name each deliverable and the phase that produces it, so the client sees what arrives and when.
- 3
Add timeline, team and fees
Give indicative dates, the people assigned and a fee schedule tied to milestones rather than a single lump sum.
- 4
Export and send for approval
Download the branded PDF, send it for signature, then convert the accepted proposal into a project plan and scope of work.
Frequently asked questions
What should a project proposal include?+
A project proposal should state the client's problem, the objective, the deliverables, the method or approach, a phase-by-phase timeline, the team assigned, assumptions and exclusions, the fee schedule and a validity date for your pricing.
How long should a project proposal be?+
For most UAE consultancy and contracting bids, three to eight pages works best: one page of context and objectives, two or three pages of approach and deliverables, one page of timeline and one page of commercials. Longer proposals only help when a tender explicitly asks for them.
What is the difference between a project proposal and a quotation?+
A proposal sells the approach — why this method, this team and this sequence of work. A quotation prices a scope the client has already defined. Many DocMak users send a proposal first and follow with a quotation once the approach is agreed.
Do I need to sign a project proposal?+
A signed proposal is often used as the commercial record, but it is not a substitute for a contract. For anything with liability, IP or payment risk, follow the accepted proposal with a service agreement and an agreed scope of work.
